PARIS, France — A dashboard or AI application is only as dependable as the data behind it. Paris Technoscience Institute (PTI) addresses that foundation through its Data Engineering Professional Certificate, a fully self-paced online course with an estimated workload of 90–120 hours.
The data engineering course focuses on the infrastructure that collects, transforms and delivers information. Students study independently through Moodle, arranging their learning around professional and personal commitments.

The course covers data architecture, ETL pipelines, Spark, cloud processing, data quality and governance. These subjects connect to the data infrastructure needs supporting analytics, automation and AI development in 2026. Students examine repeatable processing, validation checks, access decisions and operational limitations.
Assessment requires a data architecture, an ETL or data pipeline, processing evidence, a technical report and quality or governance documentation. The resulting work shows how a learner approaches the design and operation of a data system.
Present your technical skills to employers
After completing the learning and passing the assessment, students can claim their electronic certificate the same day. Add the certificate to a LinkedIn profile, alongside project evidence, to demonstrate practical skills and strengthen a CV or job application.
No previous qualification, specialist subject background or professional experience is required. The €90 one-time enrolment fee includes Moodle learning, assessment and the electronic certificate after passing.
